Opko Health Inc (OPK)

IMO... we got a little boost from the SHM.... but kind of like buy on the rumor and sell on the news.. they announced that the recommendation has changed and RAYALDEE is the way to go... HOWEVER... THEY HAVE BEEN SAYING THAT FOR MONTHS !! SO?? Was it really new?? IMO... anyone who follows OPK knew all the time this was going to happen... and so.. when there wasn't a big follow through ... IMO>.. shorts , which we always have here.. just came along and started it down...

I think too many investors... like myself... are tired of talk.. and want to see SCRIPTS BEING WRITTEN .... PERIOD...!! I have written how pathetic I believe both the 4k and the Rayaldee introductions have been... and it just doesn't seem to get management fired up.. statements like... OOPS we need twice as many sales people.. seem to me like after thoughts...

This is the first SHAREHOLDERS have seen of the number of SCRIPTS.. but from two earnings calls ago.. we heard that analyst thought it wasn't going as ... expected... SHAREHOLDERS in General.. had no idea of that... I don't find FROST very active in getting Shareholders TIMELY information before analysts decide to let their people know what to do... And Frost doesn't seem to have a sense of urgency... Hey.. we all know the only way for him to be able to sell his large stake is during a take over... And frankly... I don't think he cares what the price is until he is ready to sell... Think about it... the cheaper it is ... the more he can buy for the same $$$... So while the development of the company on a long term is in both His and the common shareholders interest... Delays... don't seem to matter to him as much as those of us who would like to se a return after 5 years...+ !! For me this is still my largest holding... and thus have taken a bath with all the delays over the last year or so... !! And am tired.. so am reducing what I have... I have another Bio.. That I feel is more Is more in line with giving shareholders profits as it goes along... rather than waiting.. for the big EVENT.. today... it was up another 4.8 % and I am doing better over the last year on that one... so... am selling off small sells of OPK and moving the money... I normally sell 200-500 shares at a time... so it doesn't really have an impact... on OPK..

Bottom Line... also.. I was a product manager in a large Corporation and grew a business from about 3m to 33M.... And delays weren't acceptable to me... nor my management.. And we needed a return every year... I dealt with sales.. and customers as well as product development.... and the DELAYS AND UNKNOWNS SEEMINGLY here.. just are not acceptable to most IMO.... Poor management. I wish they would farm out all the marketing and product introduction.. since it seems when a company who wants to make money NOW... gets it.. OPK shareholders see returns faster... than some PHd, or Md trying to manage a marketing and sales effort... again... JUST IMHO !! But look at our past deals...

Good luck... and maybe the new added sales team plus the announcement today... will start bringing in more $$$ to OPK shareholders.....
