I agree no connection between AVXL and XBI or IBB, small between AVXl and RUT2000 ( the one AVXl is included in ) because it is such a small part of RUT2000 that outflow/inflow should not be determinative.

There is a HUGE DYNAMIC IN THE SHORT INTEREST POSSIBLE COVER MOVE COMING AS SOME POSTERS STATED BETTER THAN I.

I see it everyday as I watch every 5 minute candles from bell to bell.

What I am seeing is traders/MM/shorts showing up now just 3-4 times a day with sell orders to drive down the price on small HFT sells (100sh) which is quickly met with share buys in the 1000s, then price recovers. Prior to the last few days the selling was insistent, now it is sporadic. Shorts/MM are Running out of ammunition, not to say they might not try for another BIG SHORT ATTACK.

But what I see is methodical short cover for .10 .15 .20 moves then re-short, rinse and repeat. Consider there may be close to 6 million still short if EVEN 1/2 daily volume was net short covered by EOD each day would mean on magnitude of 100K each day. SIXTY days to cover!

What will have to happen eventually is a massive move for losses of the shorts. They may try another escape like they made after the 2015 October Surprise Uplift by spiking the price with the short covering squeeze and quickly re-shorting

However, stakes are now laid and plans are made to avoid this by a planned concurrent THREE TRIALS WITH ALL THE CONCOMMITANT FDA INTERACTIONS AND READOUTS this might force an orderly retreat.

Certainly, I am not hoping for all the volatility associated with a short squeeze. One might be happy to see a huge price spike and a compulsion to take profits then be chagrined at the years end income tax bill.

Let the shorts leave in an orderly fashion. I am more than happy with a gentle rising share price.

As far as one of your elevator slam down short attacks, I think not only do they lack the ammunition but also they MAYBE under pressure from the (OMG why did it take so long) easy money overcrowded short trades in Biotech they have been having there way with so long. Also, facing what might be an Artillery of PRs or a devastating 'Typhoon of Steel' in the soon to be rapid clinical advance of A2-73

IT MIGHT BE that THE WORM HAS TURNED
