Exactly! I remember some firms charging $50 trade fees to buy NioCorp stock, regardless of the amount of shares purchased. So if you bought 100 shares at $1.00 for a $100 investment and were charged $50 in commissions to do that trade, THAT is a HUGE turn off for US investors. Also, right now many US brokerage firms will not allow OTCBB/penny stocks in retirement accounts like IRA's. This is a big disadvantage to being on a smaller exchange vs an NYSE or NASDAQ exchange, and it would open up alot more investment $ if they were on a bigger exchange.
