We originally thought we may have to spend some time looking for a place taking a year or so to do, but then her folk's place fell into our hands. So now that finding a place is no longer a concern, it's just a matter of gutting it (not really "gutting" of course) and making it ours My 'druthers would be to be done with work (we can afford it easily), but the spousal unit needs health insurance coverage til next year til she can hop on Medicare so I gotta work a little longer

We're thinking next Spring of taking a trek through the U.P. to check out all the waterfalls and then THAT winter we go south full time snowbirding
