Highly doubtful when Facebook tried to buy Snapchat it had about 70M endpoints and was just getting close to the critical number where advertiser become interested. Those crazy valuations for VLDI are based on the capability of advertising on endpoints and usually a critical number for generating ad dollars is in the area of about 100 M endpoints. Without advertising dollars VLDI would simply be valued based on revenue profit and growth like every other cyber security company.

Great theory, but in VLDI's desperate situation without operating cash, and a common share count problem it would not make any sense to keep any good news under the hat. BTW that same thing was suggested after the 10 Beta tests in USA and Europe failed to rollout the product. Also the same thing was suggested when the two mobile service/solution providers failed to announce a product rollout and the same thing was suggested when the Q2 global rollout did not happen. It is possible but in my opinion highly doubtful.

So I believe the theory doesn't hold water, like Bruce is waiting for a strategic time to make the appropriate PR, I also heard that one a few too many times in the past!
