Haven't resorted much to clipping, but do my D&D when it comes to shopping and stock picking. Learned a few things along the way from you guys.
Ten year maturity corporate bonds purchased at par, yielding around 6% as a source of future income. What do you think ? What about Muni's ? Stocks can rise and fall but when I'm looking for dividends, I'm looking for companies that can continue to pay them and are going concerns with good stats. Takes some of the worry out of the equation.
You like my stock picks? Might you mention a few others that pay bucoo dividends and are solid earners ?
Oh, I didn't mention my most recent sale of qqq, held for aeons dating back to like 1999 costing me $85 back then. Sold end of last year or thereabouts for $110. Classic- "oh no look at it now syndrome! " But all of my indicators were that it would hit and bounce back off $110 again as it had done so many times before. Oh well...
