The growth of Uber and Lyft will be due in part to economics of electric vehicles.

If electric cars become cheaper to operate than gasoline cars (which remains to be seen), that will affect all driving to the same degree as Uber and Lyft driving. So the premise in the Bloomberg write-up doesn’t make sense, IMO.

You can have the last word if you want it.
