Checkout SWET response to question on their facebook page:

Solar Wind Energy Tower, Inc. SWET (thus, its shareholders benefit from SWET's ownership) owns 90% of both LLC's. Money was raised in the LLC's to protect SWET from additional dilution. SWET benefits from its ownership PLUS license and royalty fees due from the LLC's to SWET. The concept that SWET officers are doing anything other than what's best for SWET is ridiculous.
