Gotta disagree with you a little bit. There is some deepwater drilling going on. Quite a bit in the Gulf of Mexico and some more around the world. For example, HDYN is about to spud a deepwater well offshore Guinea any day now.

Having said that deepwater drilling is at a severely reduced level. The chances of ERHC finding a partner, doing the required testing and drilling a deepwater well anywhere in the world within the next 2 to 3 years is close to zero. With Chad gone, with Kenya in peril of being lost and with the Texas property being a big nothing burger, what's left?

The Starcrest MOU is a joke IMO. Starcrest is not going to give away a large piece of OML40 when ERHC has nothing of value to contribute to the pot.
