You said you prefer looking for the positives.
What is positive about the newest of the applications being filed in 2012 ?
That is the latest date shown....does that indicate progress for all the research D'Couto has claimed since then ?
OK so no new patent applications filed since 2012.
Hmm lets look at trademarks...this is not anything new, go back and look my posts in April.
So according to the Trademark office, those Trademarks for the PowerChip Fuel Cell and the PowerChip Battery were abandoned, this was due to no response from NEAH at the time.
Then in April D'Couto pulled his head out of the sand and re-started the applications for the Trademarks, claiming ignorance.
I fail to see someone's lack of focus and organization in letting his Trademark applications lapse as a positive.
His "Social Media" rep, explained it as follows, this is a direct quote.

Neah Power Systems submitted a few trademark applications for a variety of different reasons. A few of them were abandoned based on the likelihood of application success. "
At this point in time, there are maybe 3 people working for NEAH and even then they can't get their stories straight.
IS THIS REALLY A POSITIVE ?
Any guess as to why the failures.
JMHO
