I don't have a law degree. I have decades of experience in investment-related matters, but I have never worked in the industry. I spend hundreds of dollars a quarter reading docs on pacer. I also spend a lot of time reading administrative actions and decisions on the SEC website.
I was able to retire fairly young and investing is my hobby that pays pretty darned well. I had someone take me under their wing over 20 years ago and teach me a lot of the "secrets" that take a lifetime to grasp. I now try to pay it forward as much as possible.
I don't mind teaching people that want to learn. I don't suffer fools well and while I am still more positive than negative on Finjan, it troubles me that there are so many re flags lately regarding their trading and the lack of transparency and what appears to be intentionally misleading statements as their business units are failing to live up to guidance.
Good luck to you. I know I can come across as a jerk on these boards, but I am extremely kind and generous in person... go figure.
