North, a question for you.

I looked at the Specifications document of the latest Patent application. It has much information to support all claims except the claims related to reducing the number of Breast Cancer events. In relation to reducing CV events it outlines the expected number of CV events and how they came to the number as a baseline. No information whatsoever relating to Breast cancer events other then listing them as primary and secondary out comes. No baseline is identified or how they determined a baseline has been included.

Obviously the Breast Cancer claims are dead in the water as is. Therefore either an additional specification page document is forth coming which will most likely reveal that additional analysis was done by someone or another patent application will contain the Breast Cancer related specifications

Questions:

Am I right in assuming that ANI could file another patent application related to the Breast Cancer reduction including the specification info and claiming benefit of continuity from the earlier filings?

Assuming the additional Breast Cancer information came from Abbvie, could Abbvie claim benefit of continuity or would the patent applications have to be assigned to Abbvie before the could claim the benefit of continuity?

Thanks for your help.
