The nailing on the 1/2" sheathing passed inspection today. I put too many nails in, lots of inside areas with 6" spacing instead of only the edges per code. The inspector thought that was okay, said it would be stronger. In the near future I will install a small direct vent supplementary heater in the living room that measures 25 X 15 X 8-3. The electricity goes out too often out here so I will buy one that does not have a blower. Like a Timex, it keeps on ticking on cold winter days.

The next item in the project is installing two 2-6 X 5-0 windows.
