June 9,10-I tried a Persian cucumber for the first time Friday afternoon. It was quite tasty. You need not peel them; the skin is thin and not bitter. Renee's Garden sells them. The seeds are obtained from a Middle East grower.
I had energy Saturday morning and very little in the afternoon. Since the weather will be hot and dry the next few days I watered everything. I even took the bus for another bucket of manure.
Most of the energy went toward clearing out the dirt for another 6ft timber. I will have it set in place Sunday morning.
