They could hire a credible, third-party mining engineer or geologist to do a few days of field work at El Capitan, take a couple dozen samples, assay them at a licensed lab, and write up a report. And if there are significant PM's, voila, instant credibility! Probably could do all that for under $10K-$15K, depending on number of assays.
What's stopping them from doing that?
