North Dakota regulators have scheduled August hearings on offenses alleged against Dakota Access pipeline developer Energy Transfer Partners (ETP -2%).
The North Dakota Public Service Commission is investigating whether ETP removed too many trees and shrubs while laying pipe in the state and improperly reported the discovery of Native American artifacts along the route.
ETP, which could face fines of as much as $400K if found to have violated state rules, says it did not do anything wrong.
