That wasn't my claim. You're arguing against a straw man that you've created. mCig gave out virtually free shares to existing shareholders at a taxable value of $.0001/share. My claim was that anyone who received dividend shares and kept them would have made an enormous profit and they did. That is a fact!
The company can't be blamed for what investors paid to buy more or did with their divvy shares afterwards. Those who bought additional shares at $.09 lost but that has nothing to do with the dividend. Those who sold their divvy shares at $.09 won big. The dividend was absolutely positive for shareholders.
