It is about the difference in size of the particles that are delivered.
When you order particles with a size of a quarter of a milimeter, and with a tolerance of 4% bigger or smaller, and that is 90% of the orders received for the company, than all other sized particles are waste.
When you are able to produce more product with the particle size and tolerance needed for AM, than you are the producer with bigger benefit over all.
