MADOFF was stealing from the rich- I think he confessed to save his life, but that's just my opinion. There is more to the story than we know in regards to that one. He might have confessed to the SEC to keep his entire family from being tortured.

Eddie V. steals from small investors. Way different ball game and much less dangerous. That is until he crosses the wrong group/person. I'm surprised he has not been targeted. The ARTS thing hurt a lot of people. PRPM also did, but I think the ARTS thing was by far his biggest/best scam with the most damage.
