Basically it is his lawyer talking to Mueller and telling them what he can testify to and who he may be able to implicate. They don't tell all initially but enough to wet the appetite of the investigators. They may be able to get much of the info themselves and don't need his testimony but he can certainly cause problems for Jared and Donald
