Good point. Sure hope their expectations and efforts bear fruit quickly!

Something occurred to me recently. I have no proof, but it seems obvious to me that DE would not have contemplated taking over as CEO, which allowed Ed to step down, unless the EPA had finally given its approval.

Which leads to the following speculation:

At that time, everyone was assuming that the FDA was a slam-dunk.

Had DE realized then that this wasn't the case, that the FDA would re-think its position and demand further filings, would he have agreed to step in? Or would he have said, "Whoa, I'm not stepping into this situation until ALL the regulators are satisfied!"?

That would have meant that the moves that DE has made: the agreements with EMA and InnovaSource, the new Board members with vast commercial experience, would still not have happened.

So the fact that there was a miscommunication, or whatever, with the FDA, worked in our favor.

Certainly a positive sequence of events, which we haven't seen so often in our long and tortured past.

Maybe our fortune is turning.
