EXACTLY! I don't think people fully realize just how big of a win for UOIP this is!

The cable companies were counting on either of 2 things. That UOIP would be scared by the IPR and settle before the PTAB ruled on it or that they would win. Neither of those 2 things happened.

The cable companies are in a very sticky situation. The risk of going to trial after losing those petitions is substantial do they risk or try to pay the little guy off

I'm thinking settlement plans are already underway
