I have a suggestion for you.
Give your cash to Romulo and Roy to give to Torres when they head down to Chile on their surfing safari. Jorge can hide out in the background and take some pictures of the guys handing Torres the cash. Then when Torres loses the case, Jorge can whip out those pictures and yell "bribery! corruption!" and seek charges against all three of them. He might have to find a new lawyer, but what the heck... this one hasn't done very well anyway.
THAT would fit quite nicely into Jorge's lose to win strategy don't you think?
