John Campo was President and Director and Kyle Gotshalk was CEO & Director

So Campo and Gotshalk were both involved was directors and officers of the company when Gotshlk was caught by the FBI, Charged and on trial.

It would be very difficult for Campo to claim he had no idea what was going on. Since the SEC was releasing this information and making it public.
