I look at it like a pharma start-up. It's tough science with stringent approval processes. It could take a decade or more to develop and get necessary approvals, and there is nothing to sell until that happens. If it hits, it hits big, and if it doesn't, it doesn't, and you know that going in, so you factor it into how much weight you give it in your portfolio. You can jump in and out along the way and maybe make some money, but if you're out on the wrong day, you're SOL and all the waiting before was for not.
