Statements that the company has never communicated the demise of the cell are not based in reality.

You know this isn't true.

They said first they were really close and about to revolutionize the industry - then they just stopped talking about it and would refer to it as a great bonus.

But they never once "communicated the demise" of the cell.

Seriously find one shred of evidence they actually communicated there were issues.

Of course you could infer there were issues because nothing they said made sense (everything is great, but no progress for years). But they haven't actually disclosed issues with it until... just now.

It's really indefensible what they did if you care even a little bit about management integrity with their investors.
