Exactly! For example - I always sell half my shares on a double without fail. In fact the order is placed as soon as the purchase is filled. Obviously on a double, I have all of my initial investment back!
It is one strategy I use.
I will often buy back more shares on a dip if I still like the potential.
Like I have said before, if you have a strategy, ( and you should) then follow it regardless of how you feel about the certain stock. Just my opinion.
