POLA does have a fairly sizeable short position: about 12 percent of the float. But they also have rising institutional ownership, and they have been doing a bunch of presentations at investor conferences. That was more than $1.5M of buying today...

This won't go to $12 without some very good news on order backlog with sustained margins. But it can easily go to $8, which is a 60% gainer from here.
