Cascade of medium HPPs with total capacity of 127 MW. The total cost of the project will be about US$272.7 million, which includes the plant’s civil works, equipment, transmission lines and other costs. Shala Energy is a concessionaire company in Albania granted concession rights for 35 years for the purpose of the construction of a hydropower plant cascade on the Shala River.
