Damn, they got scalped, but it looks refreshing to me tho', I feel sorry for long haired animals in the heat.
I inherited my mom's cat whom she adopted as a feral 19 years ago. She's a long haired dark calico and got some matted areas on her hip I couldn't brush out. So, now that the weather is in the 80's to stay, I gave her a lion cut the other day ha ha. I left a mane (neck up), a ball on the tip on her tail and her lower legs long and shaved her eveyrwhere else. She must love it as she's active all day long now as well as late at night(ugh lol).
