A little note about our history: During the Revolutionary War the Queen of England sent a spy to the US. He returned to her with this observation: I followed Washington as he walked into the woods alone with his horse. He stopped and prayed to god. Never in my life have I ever seen anyone pray so earnestly. We can not win this war.

There are a number of paintings out there about that with Washington praying there in the forest with his horse. One of them ( a copy) hangs on my wall.

For many decades, I and others have said, "This nation is living on the blessings of its forefathers, and those blessings are running out." Perhaps we have been wrong. There are a lot of good people in this nation, and many good leaders to come. Our flag, though faded, tattered, and torn, still flies highest on the pole above all other flags in honor and glory. We are the best. Our honor and pride will endure the ravages of time forever.

This nation needed someone like Trump for a long time.
