If...or when...we go thru most days without opening reading our Bible. When we only take enough time to spit out a couple little prayers each day if that many. Are we not....in our own way.... telling God that we dont have time for Him. In fact we are saying that we dont have time for joy...peace...contentment or direction...because as we should know...God is the only source of all these. The reason for meditation in Bible study and prayer is a period of time each day set aside to contemplate the Lord...listen to Him...learn of Him and allow His Spirit to fill us. When we meet with God in this way...He equips us to carry out our lives in a godly way and helps us build a strong foundation to cope with whatever life throws at us. As we meditate...God prepares us for life on earth and life eternal! Think about it!
