I don't know if it is greed or some disdain over shareholders.

Stan and Gill could have made a lot more money making POW! a successful company with a much higher share price. I doubt it would have taken much more work or any more money than was wasted during the Disney first look deal.

It looks more like they didn't want shareholders to make money. Stan and Gill haven't talked to shareholders in about five years. Neither Stan or Gill did much to promote POW! projects that came to maybe let. It seemed like they spent money to keep the company at or below break even.

Maybe Stan and Gill experience with Stan Lee Media soured them on shareholders.
