Na-Nose and Owlstone is the same and Yost FAIMS is a step above both of those, Yost FAIMS will measure Molecules and both Na-Nose and Owlstone just recognize the Molecule

Here's a somewhat understanding

Say Na-Nose or Owlstone are looking for Military - Which Country there for the Fight

Say they see a USA uniform and a Chinese uniform and also a Canadian uniform

Ok now we have 3 of 180 Countrry's there

Yost FAIMS goes a step further - He can see the same uniform but will count how many are there

5,000 USA and 4,500 Chinese with 4,000 Canadian Uniforms, now we know that it's one sided or about 9,000 Allies to 4,500 opposing force - Now we know what Diease

All of Na-Nose 17 Diease's found have 13 of the same Molecules, Na-Nose and Owlstone now need to run Seperate tests on each Molecule, measure this and that threw a Mass Spectrometer

Say you have Yost FAIMS tied to NaNose or Owlstone, turn the knob and adjust the VOCs for this and then that, 13 clicks on the knob would then say 1,300 Molecules #1, 140 Molecule #2, 12,434 Molecule # 3 and so on - Now you know the Diease

The difference about Dr Yost FAIMS is the surface - Both the shape and Length of the electrode, say you have a 10' board that will hange on the wall, then grab a 1' level to make it level to hange, yes it might be close but grab a 10' level and you'll see if your right or not - Na-Nose and Owlstone is about a couple hairs width and Yost FAIMS is about dozen tooth picks laid together, 100th of an inch vs 1 full inch

Something like .05MM vs 50MM or so
