Wirelessman77 - That is interesting, so it raises a question at the same time. Old technology or New Technology. Cowen seems to be tooting the future will be 'Fiber'.

So I say isn't that the old technology compared to AT&T's experiments that are working out on 'AirGig' using installed electric powerlines and a combination of Fibertower like radios with small cells at the end points. AT&T might succeed in bypassing fiber and the expenses of that - bringing something more efficient yet than what Cowen was writing about.

Came across this FCC decision that seems to have moved through their system under Wheeler in 2015, with some potential for delays if anyone filed a petition for reconsideration: But the main point of mentioning this decision is that it shows how the FCC can wiggle around any of its rules when it suits the FCC.
