May 16-Wednesday is manure day. I've already reserved a full sized van (no trucks were available) with Uhaul. I've got more buckets at the ready this time, so instead of two trips I can make just two.
It's finally May the way everyone in Zone 7b thinks May should be. The plants are responding to the warming soil. The Eastern Red Cedar tree across the street on the Public Storage property is lush and green. The crepe myrtles have leafed out and will produce buds and then a profusion of pink, white, and rose red blossoms.
Mohammed's Person cucumbers have greened up. They're growing straight up. I wonder if they will lean over the way I how cucumber vines behave. The Purslane has also taken off. It is good source of Omega 3 vitamins, the ones usually associated with seafood.
Dreama took some images but she didn't email them.
