This was involving a military project SAGE, which gave IBM a crucial leap over the competitors:

My point of sharing this video is to draw a parallel to Ekso. The military is currently spending on exoskeletons and I think the advances ekso bionics had made are somewhat parallel to those made by IBM decades ago. Obviously the train has continued for IBM and Ekso is speculative.
