This article was posted long before the STRP deal was ever brought up. There has to be something in the planned integration of the spectrum that we are missing. Verizon is at what...4.7 billion in spectrum for 5G. We have no idea what AT&T paid for Fibertower. If this article is correct then T either got the steal of the century and left Verizon with the bill paying for XO and STRP...or they paid a hefty price for Fibertower knowing it was all they needed and tried to steal STRP out from under Verizon knowing they needed it desperately to compete.

Either way...if their was the faintest whisper that they weren't getting the full portfolio of Fibertower they would have outbid Verizon.
