it seems to me that lithium is a Worldwide event and not just a Tesla event. There s a shortage of cobalt now . in battery compounds you need , silver, cobalt, magnesium and of course lithium in a packingm. the lica is the commercial deliver mode.Some companies obtain the lica as a by product and obtain elements like nitrate a fertilizer as a main product.now some companies are experimenting with oil brines and li and magnesium as by products
