Arcam pushing boundaries: New Corporate Video

Evidence of GE's "help". A New Arcam Corporate Video. A polished piece of public relations that is probably supposed to introduce the new GE/Arcam/AP&C/DiSanto/GE branding. It's a bit too warm and fuzzy for me but we (Arcam's non-GE shareholders) are most definitely not the intended marketing demographic. I'm not sure who exactly this is supposed to reach, the ideal target audience, and what the expected takeaway is supposed to be.

Of the whole 1 minute 20 second video I can discern slightly less than 4 seconds of obvious additive manufacturing. A technical layman would takeaway much less than that. It's more down to earth than the original GE Additive Video and Alcoa's Jetsons Reimagined Video that inspire the techno-geek/engineering crowd.

Hmmm. The most interesting things learned that I haven't put together already is that GE's Additive and Alcoas Jetsons videos were published two days apart (Nov 1th and 15th respectively) and the viewer counts.

GE's initial Additive Video currently has 86,861 views.
Alcoa's Jetsons Video currently has 5,354,894 views.
Arcam's new Corporate Video dated 5 days ago has 2 views. One of those is mine.
