Qi sucks. I have a pad charger that I never use. It's bulky, takes up a lot of space on my night table, it's very slow to charge, and you have to place the phone on it just right otherwise it won't work. It's a novelty item that's collecting dust. I would never buy another phone for that feature and if Apple think's they are going to have wireless charging in the i8 they'd better be using something revolutionary otherwise it's going to flop. If a wireless charger even worked within a foot of the phone it would be an attractive feature but Qi is simply awful.
