Job description
Growing company in Fort Washington seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably 10. This person will be responsible for software development, modeling and simulation and other technical efforts in support of new commercial business initiatives at Mikros.
REQUIRED
• 4-year degree, preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• At least 5 years experience, preferably 10
• Experience with engineering modeling and simulation
• Experience in Unix/Linux/POSIX SW development
• Experience in web development
• Experience with UX design and development
• Excellent communication skills
ADVANTAGES
• Real-time or embedded systems development experience
• Experience with SW version control systems, SW development life-cycle tools
• Network architecture or network software development experience
• Virtual machine development experience
• Advanced degree
• Microsoft .NET SW development experience
• Expertise in current and emerging trends and techniques
