A bit of luck -

I bought FSPTX on 11 April at 151.98

On 12 April an Ex dividend was announced.

On 13 April Ex dividend was disbursed.

The net result reduced my effective purchase price to 147.10

Fidelity shows a distribution schedule for this fund occur in April and December (see link below). They don't announce the actual date in advance. I got lucky.

With todays close of 155.86, I am up ~6%, and the chart trend continues to be mildly positive.

I anticipate I will 'sell in May and go away'.
