Besides the potato seeds we buy last three years we've let store bought potatoes go to sprout. People say most food the corporations make sure you can't grow them again by spraying a growth inhibitor. That may be true but it sure hasn't been with potatoes we've had. Here they are getting hardened off ready to plant. That was couple weeks ago saw a few making their way past the soil and straw yesterday. So good to see. We might hit 70 next week. Need sun and warmth BAD!

After church tomorrow going to be laying down black 6 mill plastic to heat the soil up. Have to do what you need to do when conditions SUCK!



BTW....

That is the corner of the green house. The piping is from an old Costco 10x20 canopy. Years ago we got three feet of snow and my shoulder was out so couldn't get snow off and it collapsed. Only thing left was the pipes in good shape. The wood you see is tongue & groove my neighbor didn't want. That sat for years under a tarp and sure enough saving the pipe and wood saved me HUGE $$$$!!!
