Director, Pharmacy Key Accounts

We are looking for a Director, Pharmacy Key Accounts to be responsible for developing and growing Canopy Growth’s business within the retail pharmacy setting: Responsibilities encompass the creation and monitoring of key account business plans along with the management of associated customer contracts, agreements and RFPs. This person will collaborate internally with supply-chain, customer service, legal, finance, medical and sales/marketing to develop targeted account plans that ensure alignment with overall strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong business relationships with targeted customers within the retail pharmacy setting.

Actively manage contracts, agreements and RFPs with key accounts to maintain and consolidate business.

Act as liaison between the key account and Canopy Growth by monitoring their needs and strategic priorities to create a mutually beneficial business relationship while providing exceptional customer service.

Collaborate with sales/marketing and medical to design and deliver customer education and marketing programs relevant to the customer’s needs while targeting demand creation.

Participate with internal stakeholders in the creation of strategies and tactics to grow business.

Create and monitor annual business plans for key accounts; include internal stakeholders in the development of business plans and provide monthly updates on progress to plan. Identify opportunities for business expansion and growth and revise plans as necessary.

Conduct semi-annual business reviews with key accounts to maintain focus on business continuity, the customer’s evolving needs and to strengthen customer relationships.

Experience & Background

5-10 years experience in an account management role with retail pharmacy.

Ability to design and execute key account business plans.

Demonstrated track record of key account growth.

Critical and strategic thinker who is able to assess potential ROI and prioritize opportunities.

Data-driven, and comfortable with metrics and spreadsheets.

Superior communication, leadership and cross-functional teamwork skills.

Other Details:

This is a full time position based out of Smiths Falls or the GTA. Depending on your seniority and what you bring to the table, we’ll figure everything else out.
