Maybe that's exactly who told me about that ugly mole......out of concern for my health! But no, I wouldn't trust him to tell me if it was harmless or not.

The point is...."geologists" cover a broad range of skills/training/expertise. For example, I wouldn't expect a geologist with a hydrology background to know much about ore deposits. Or one that focuses on earth fissures to know much about alteration and ore mineralogy.
