The board would be wise to ponder your comments, as to why and how and when to invest in KOPN. I too think our stock pick herein will readily expand in to the areas you have mentioned, and agree the company R&D investment will be a factor in degrading next few quarters of earnings.
By simply combining IR and 3-D 'libraries' of readings of say eye movements and tactile range of motions behavior, along with voice and questions responses . . . a history of physical and mental reality orientation (for medical study by software), would be most useful to remote and visiting and family caregivers?
Using AI predictive math sets, potential troubling info could be 'alarmed' to those parties.
The same general factors (and more) would allow remote sensing of production and product usage data by various entities. Check out MVIS stock as form of novel portable high definition lasing system they have developed, that can easily be included in say cell phones of present size. I owe some of that company also, and think it has high potential in VR-AR applications. MVIS is now preparing its first product as separate micro laser projector, that is stand alone Wi-Fi device along side say your cell phone or laptop. Just, for example, VG and business uses should be sought after uses of this type of tech. I would hope both companies would envision the product and service lines they could create together.
I foresee mutually in both stocks in the coming IOT transition as robotics, etc. continues to evolve in the planetary society.
I am quite comfortable holding both stocks for their obvious frontier status in the coming times.
Now . . . as to juiced-up folk in Flying Cars . . . that maybe a big leap to get around? It was fun, fun, fun . . . til Daddy took the flight keys away! :)
