Interactive Brokers showed 1.31 million shares available to borrow this morning and now it's 2.62 million so to say there are no shorts in ASTI is completely false. For retail to short, one has to put up $2.50 per share to borrow, so it doesn't make sense but it does give and idea of what the MM's may have locked up the short side.
Oversold, with shorts covering means this is the time to buy for a pop and not to be scared into selling.
