I can't imagine the transition would take years, but can see a deal that works out well for Liscouski. What matters to me is, will my upside and Liscouski's upside be coincident in some way.

How about, He works for a dollar a year and 25% of the shares of the new company for the first three years. I'd be willing to bet what little I have left that such a deal would make all shareholders money.
How many times did I and others complain that management had no skin in the game? Problem solved. If Liscouski is willing to take a chance I would be willing to ride his coattails.
