That's possible but not a move Apple as a company would normally make....they have to produce many phones which can put them in a bind whether the glass won't mold to what they need, or if the technology is ready as in wireless charging or fingerprint sensor etc. By year end Apple has to make anywhere from 77-100 million of these phones they have to be on top of these production worries, this is years in the making, most of the news we receive is "old news" some fake news and some recent news, I truly believe no one in the media or banking world know exactly what is in the works most guess just like we do;) we probably know more then others!

My point is iPhone SE for the mid to upper class phone users which will compete with the new S8, this is the possibility where they use ip7 internals only one phone though no plus, but slightly larger then the ip7.

And ip8 all new oled, lm? To be determined may be launching along side the SE in June...

This is all speculation of course what say you?
